Worth Taking the Risque?

"Five, four, three, two, one ... " BANG!

It happens on set: the special effects guys being extremely responsible - as to not bringing our beloved actors in danger. Which is a good thing. No mistake about that.

But they can also be a bit too responsible at times.

As was the case here on set for Unité42.

SFX kept cueing the actors safely early (on "three") when running from an exploding vehicle. So after two unsatisfying rehearsals ... I did the countdown myself.

Of course the two wonderful acting talents Constance Gay and Patrick Ridremont were both in on it. So instead of on "three", they would start running between "two" and "one". Hahaaa!

And Patrick - being the extremely generous and engaging sport he is - asked Constance to start running between "one" ... and BANG!

It worked wonders!
